I don't see those links or anything below the title.  I think it is because I am not a performance member.

or I'm confused.

There was a bug preventing free members from seeing those links. It's been corrected. Try it out and let us know if you have any problems.

Thanks for allowing the Free guys to get access to this again.  Just imported the Cycling Plan.  C

Quick question regarding the plan:

The three main sessions (usually put into M,W,F) are the most "important" rides.  Is the longer usually optional and should be taken a little easier for recovery purposes and to build your base?  Or should workout 1 (Monday) and Workout 2 (Wednesday) be most important including the optional longer distance ride?

Thanks Jorge again for all your help.

I'm pretty sure in order to import you have to be a performance member.

The ability to import plans (any plan, not just this one) is one of the features that comes with Performance (i.e., paid) membership (bronze, silver, gold). You do not need to import the plan to be able to follow it, though.

Is there a guide to understanding the markup of each training day?  e.g. Day 1 below:

WU:

10' @ 68-73% + 5' alternating 20" @ 106> %

40" @ 68-73% + 5' @ 80%

MS:

10x30" (30" Rest@ 75-80% FT) @ 95-100% + 10' @ 75-80%

CD:

5-10' @ 65%

I get most of the above but have some questions in the details.  Want to make sure I am reading everything first so if I guide exists -where?.  Perhaps a newbie forum for the cycling program so questions don't overload the regular forum.

Thanks for offering this.  I am setting up my space today (while it snows 8 inches outside...)

TRANSLATION: Warm-up 10 minutes at 68-73% (LT or FTP, not sure if you're following heartrate or power...), then 5 minutes alternating 20 seconds @ 106%, 40 seconds at 68-73%, then 5 minutes at 80%

MS:

10x30" (30" Rest@ 75-80% FT) @ 95-100% + 10' @ 75-80%

Main Set: 10 sets alternating 30 seconds at 95-100%, 30 seconds @ 75-80%, then 10 minutes riding at continuous 75-80% effort.

CD:

5-10' @ 65%

Cool Donw: 5-10 minutes at 65%

FT/FTP = functional threshold. If you don't know that value yet, you'll test in a couple of weeks to set determine what your current FTP is. If you don't know that value for now, you can go by perceived effort (95-100% is hard, 75-80% is moderate, 65% is easy...)

Most of the information should be available on BT soon, from what I understand.  Jorge's site though should give you the info you're looking for.
