Shape and lack of vents  are a good start.

I suspect road helmets will take a shift towards this kind of thing in the future.

I mean, years ago who would have imagined road racers riding on 808's.

It looks like the Specialized helmet I had back in '94 had a baby with a skater's helmet.

It is the windscreen that makes me take note.  That is pretty cool.  Make it photochromic and I may have to sneak one into my Christmas list.

Looks pretty cool - if there's a decent sale somewhere I may grab one of these at some point. Looks pretty solid in terms of cooling, aerodynamics, and weight, but does look a bit goofy. At the end of the video they said they would be work in the TDF - wonder if that's for the time trial days or the entire tour.

It looks like an indoor cycling helmet.  Kinda what TJ uses.

I plan on getting one for tris. I will stick with my road helmet for training.

Can't wait for "others" to snap these up to bring the cost way down on a regular aero helmet. Wink

$200-$240 for a minute and a half over 112 miles? I think maybe I'll save my money for another night or two at a hotel for my next IM. Most of us are not competing for a podium slot, but I guess it's worth it to some.

Quantifiably, the Air Attack (with visor) will save 17 seconds over 40 kilometers versus the Aeon. In a 70.3, it’s closer to 40 seconds. An Ironman, nearly a minute and a half.
