Subject: My bike takes revenge on bad drivers So I was out doing a brick last Saturday, and on about mile 10 of my bike ride, a van got a little too close for comfort. The driver caused me to swerve, and I ended up hitting a rock. (I was ALREADY on the shoulder, by the way. ) I couldn't avoid it. It all happened so fast.
The rock wasn't very big...about one inch - the size of a large piece of gravel. Within a split second, I saw the rock shoot out from under my front tire, and "P-TING!", it hit the passenger's side door of the van.
Now I can't be sure about this, but with a rock that size, that driver may now have a dent in the passenger's side door. See what happens when you get too close?
Your red bike may be faster, but my blue bike protects me by spitting rocks at bad drivers! (I'm so glad I didn't get a flat! )
I thought you all might enjoy that little story... |
