I saw on a blog that the One Run for Boston relay is coming through NM in March. I think my son and I might sign up for a leg. It goes across on HWY 60 and the segments are of varying lengths. Anyone else heard anything about it?

I had not heard of this until your post. It's a pretty cool concept. I wish I could run a leg but believe it or not I'm still rehabbing the injury that took me out in July. I've got my long run up to a whopping 1.25 miles.

This was actually brought to the attention of the multisport club in Socorro at the last meeting. I believe a member or two will be participating as it comes through our area.

I just ran the Boston Marathon under nine minute miles, can I run eight minute miles for my half Ironman training runs? Or should I go slower?

I am running Boston in April and Ironman Lake Placid is in July. I have been told that it is ambitious to think about doing an IM so close to a marathon due to the recovery time. Any suggestions?
