Subject: Morse Reservoir area
Just moved to Morse Reservoir in South Harbor and could be looking for some training partners or at least some open water swim partners. I currently do a lot of riding around noblesville, westfield, and carmel, swim at the carmel/westfield LA Fitness. I also train at Crossfit Thrive in westfield. Long time athlete, just did my first tri at the Carmel Sprint in April (2nd place Clydesdale), doing Eagle creek this weekend and 3 or 4 more this summer around town. My last few weeks of training have been pretty boring by myself and probably not as productive as they should be.

Check out this website:

He used to have open water swims in Morse. Not sure if he is still doing it, but you could contact him to find out.

He is still doing this 3 times a week. Monday (500m multiples), Wednesday (1500m) and Thursday (1500m or 1.2 miles, can do 2.4 later in the year). Decent group usually shows up each swim.

Thanks, Guys! Yep, we still have swims during season! This year, we got a late start due to the weather, but in 2015, we will swim as soon as the water hits 61°.

I got about a minute into it and, despite bracing myself against it for months, I panicked. I could not get my breath. I said, "I can't do this, I can't do this."

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

The triathletes really inspired me. I watched them in awe as childlike thoughts went through my head like, "I want to do that!" But then reality set in. “Who are you kidding?
