Transition 1
Comments: long run out to the parking lot. had to brush some rocks off my feet before slipping on my bike shoes. have to start off slow due to speed bumps in the parking lot Bike
Comments: had a good ride for me and based on how much I have been riding. always like to be faster, but no mechanical issues or flats today. I did have to come to an almost complete stop (and unclip) when some yahoo decided to half listen to the cop working the race. he pulled in front of me and then stopped, blocking the course. Transition 2
Comments: should have been faster, but okay Run
Comments: started off sore, but i saw a guy in my AG leave right before me. loosened up and increased my stride after the first mile and settled into a good pace. no one passed me and I tracked down a few people on the way. What would you do differently?: more brick training Post race
Warm down: saw that I was way outside the podium (you never know with these smaller races), so I grabbed my gear and headed home What limited your ability to perform faster: the amount of training I have been doing. Event comments: pretty good for a small race. lots of post race activities (which I didn't stay around for). maybe next year Last updated: 2014-09-30 12:00 AM
