Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :50 minutes on the KK, getting the legs moving again

5:30am:  :30 minutes strength + core

Feeling pretty good today, although I believe I'm going to lose a toenail on my left foot.  My second toe really got jammed into the front of my shoe on all the downhills Saturday.  I hope it hangs on! Its sandal season you know!

Have a great day!

35 minute run with a few tempo pickups this AM. Still feeling a bit iffy but better than yesterday; hope I'm okay by Sunday. Won't discuss the state of my toenails--I think I'm down to 8. Actually more like 4 1/2 + 3 1/2. Long runs in sloshy shoes don't do wonders for them. And it's sandal season all year!

Just had to share--the LOW here tomorrow is supposed to be 84. On race day (another forecast service, probably more accurate), daytime low 86, high 94, sunny, no cloud cover. At least hypothermia will probably NOT be an issue. Wondering if the entire field will become grease spots on the pavement. Plus have never heard of the nutrition or drink products offered on the course, which they just announced today. Glad I planned on self-sufficiency, except for taking any water/sponges they hand out. Wondering if I can get away with sticking my head in the cold water sponge bucket and shaking like a dog. (Got yelled at in Singapore for that--they said it was unsanitary!)

Off to bed now.

Hahaha, I've sooooo wanted to do that but never had the guts. Well done!

Rest day for me.

Hey there!
Sorry MIA!

Had my 2nd OLY this past Sunday and got 2nd AG!!! WAHHHHOOOOO! First time on the podium for me so I was super thrilled!

Trying to recover but felt pretty good this morning.

5:15am - 60 min power spin.
9am - 30 min run. OK, thought I was feeling ok until I ran...guess I really did push it at the race. My run legs are still recovering!

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
