Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :45 minutes on the KK

5:15am:  :45 minutes strength training

Early start today, school pictures and as I am in charge of yearbook, I get to coordinate things all day long.  Say cheese!

Have a great day!

Good night!

PM 3000m of swimming. Kind of a suck-fest due to cramps. Not sure if girl stuff (a bit early for that) or something I ate for lunch. Of course they went away shortly after I finished. Plus water was cold. Basically, the heater has died. Hard to believe it, but since the pool's indoors, it's close to wetsuit-legal. I finally got warm doing 400m IM's.

Have fun with school pics. I've been photo editor for our yearbook and I don't think it's a role I would jump at again!

After a rough 6 day week with long hours, I remember reading something about 4:30 in the morning being all the rage. I'm trying. Maybe this week won't rob me.

Celebrated 4 weeks post foot surgery with a 3 mile run!  Bumping mileage up to 10 miles this week and will build back from there.

I was in the pool with masters this morning for an hour. Lots of drills and fly but some good hard front crawl mixed in too. I expect to be playing badminton at lunchtime and will likely find time for some strength exercises focused on core after work today. I really ought to get my commute bike fixed this evening too since the weather is still looking good, so far, for using it this week.

Running and swimming tonight with the tri team. I'd say I'm pretty much back to normal now, so I'll resume training close to what I did before.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
