Subject: Treadmill Advice: iFit Alternatives We have been looking for a treadmill for running and walking. It will hopefully be used 3-5 hours / week to run and about the same for walking.
I like the concept of iFit with the workout programs, google maps and more interactive workouts - reminds me of Trainer Road (which I like a lot ) or Zwift. Using iFit limits me to a few treadmills and I have it narrowed down to either the Nordic Track C 1750 or Pro Form 4500. It is my understanding that these are basically the same treadmill.
These are good treadmills, but if I could go up in quality and get an interactive program like iFit, that would be great, but I haven't found anything. Most treadmills just have the built in programs which would not keep me interested.
Any suggestions? I know a lot of people like the Sole or Precor treadmills (and they probably are better ), but if they do not have an interactive program, I would end up with a great treadmill that I would not use. I'd rather have an OK treadmill that I use and wear out.
