Run
Comments: Planned to go out slower but ran pretty comfortable most of the way. Pushed to 8:20 pace from half way point for 3 miles to see if I could spot the 3:45 pace group but never saw them. Longest training run was 19 and I didn't have much after that point What would you do differently?: I think more volume and maybe a few more longer runs would help. I got up to 40 miles for a couple weeks, but I think I would need more volume to do much better Post race
Warm down: I was not walking so good. I sat, stretched and drank gatorade and beer. After a 30 minutes I felt better and walked around for a bit. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training time Event comments: This is a great race. I have done the half and now the full. The spectators consist of family members of athletes, but also a number of people whom live along the course, they are outstanding and really keep you energized. Last updated: 2017-11-13 12:00 AM
