You will never guess what the goody bag I got today for my tri contained (unless you are Whizzer, of course ;-) ). Lipstick!!!! Clinique's Mauve Crystal, to be specific. So Bear, apparently lipstick is becoming a more popular tri accessory....

Probably one of those all-chick tris. We're definitely heading toward that camisole-requiredevent that I'm promoting.

Wear it in good health!

You MUST be doing Danskin......I got Clinique lipstick too in Denver!  Very cool, except that I hate the color.  Oh yeah, and I wear lipstick maybe 1 time a year.  I gave it away.

Still, it's a cool thing!

I saw so many women decked out in their new lip color (I volunteered at the Danskin today). Apparently a lot of them were so thrilled, the had to put it on after the swim! It was adorable, especially on the older ladies. :-)

Real serious bunch of athletes there, putting lipstick on during T1. Probably the best-looking BOPers out there!

Hey hey hey, bear...this was the DANSKIN. It's not about being competitive, it's about tri-ing in someone's honor or memory, or just to be a part of something amazing. I have more respect for these women than some elite triathletes. If they wanted to have a little fun and put on some lipstick, then more power to them. I thought they were all amazing athletes, with no mention to which "OP" they were.

Anyway, just had to put in my 2 cents.

Being a self identified primper, I loved getting the lipstick, foaming body wash, razors, etc.  The one thing about an all woman tri -- you don't have to worry about sharing a goody bag with the guys!!!!

That being said,  I did not stop to put lipstick on during either of my "t" times, nor did I comb my hair, as I saw some competitors doing!!!!  I'd rather be fast than look good during a race.  Post race is a different story.

I'm afraid even my feminine side would be too competitive for you lipstick-applying T1 primpers.

I have been told that I do have nice legs, not sure what a red dress and pumps would do for them.

Jazzy, I'll tell you what... you're going nowhere with that argument with bear... I've done it before... I now wear my lipstick and just sit back and smile.... (PS you all might be HORRIFIED to know I treated myself to a full manicure/pedicure this weekend too...) the feet and hands needed a little TLC.
