Swim
Comments: The start was a bit hectic, but I got in a good rhythm and once I was headed back in was able to push it a little. What would you do differently?: Try and not kicked quite so many times. :) Transition 1
Comments: Felt like my head was still swimming in T1 and thought I was going extremely slow, but I am happy with that time. What would you do differently?: Either wear a top that I can swim in, or forget the shirt altogether. Bike
Comments: Felt good on the bike, passed quite a few (this is my stongest segment), nice course with not much traffic. What would you do differently?: Drink more, it was humid and needed to drink more. Transition 2
Comments: Completely forgot to hit the watch as I entered T2, therefor a time would be a guess, but it was quick. The Yankz were a godsend, just pull the shoes on a go. What would you do differently?: Drink.. Run
Comments: Had to walk a little at the beginning of the course, due to the hills and starting a little to quickly. But I got into a rhythm and the rest of the run was good. What would you do differently?: Start a little slower, lose the shirt. Post race
Warm down: Swim the in lake to cool down and drink H2O What limited your ability to perform faster: Humidity didn't help, just getting smoother for the transitions. Event comments: This is a great race, low key and laid back, great for beginners and elites alike. I will definitely be back next year. Last updated: 2004-08-20 12:00 AM

Ended up getting there late after getting stuck in Traffic due to an accident. Thought I may just end up a spectator. But I made it, registered (#82) then set up my transition area.
Quick dip in the lake and some stretching, not ideal, but not much time.
