This is from The Mac's album:

(Posted without permission. Sorry Mac)

I like this idea but leaving the 70.3 flesh colored that way when you complete the IM you just fill in the black.

What if you do a HIM, an OLY, and 2 sprints? Does that add up to the same distance?

Obviously I'm kidding.

I like the logo with the M-dot's brain leaking out onto his chest.

That's the blood, sweat and tears that go into earning a full M-dot.

Ok, some opinions:
1. Just get the 70.3, then when you do a full, go around it with the outline and fill in completely covering up the 70.3
2. Just get the outline with the 70.3 inside, fill in later.
3. Don't start a fill in, the color will fade, it will be hard to match, then you'll end up redoing the whole thing.
4. I like the one with the bleeding from the circle to the body. Thats pretty bad-, not just for a 1/2IM, but for any IM tat.

I like the just numbers thing. I think they're clean looking and simple. I want to get the 112 and 2.4, but I'm worried about always wearing a watch over the 2.4 for work, and I always wear a watch during races so when will people see it? I don't think I could get used to wearing a watch on my left hand for work if thats where I got the tattoo.

Here is mine. I got the font off of Microsoft, I just played around wtih sizes. As the tattoo has aged, I like it more and more. It stands out, but simply and people always like the story. Its almost 4 years old now and still looks good.

I'm doing the Steelhead next month. When I finish I plan on getting  the M-dot with 70.3 inside. I'm thinking red M-dot with black 70.3
