Transition 1
Comments: I felt a bit dizzy, didnt stop breathing heavily as I mounted the bike. Had gotten wet Tshirt. I ran out quite fast. Bike
What would you do differently?: train hills Transition 2
Comments: Somebody put their bike on my place - assholes. So I just dumped mine on the ground. Couldnt get moving. Stomach hurt. Run
Comments: I was tired, my stomach hurt - i was mostly walking. but yet i got lost so i went extra half km What would you do differently?: look for the signs train more bike and then run Post race
Warm down: I had to go on fast - and know waht? I didnt stratch and i regret it very vrey bitterly now - a good lesson What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training Event comments: Even though it was only 16km the hills surprised me. I did a little better on swim than I had thought i would. then on the bike about 20 people took me over but i passed about 2 people myself - but then i didn't have any energy left - I squeezed myself and then the worst part came when i found out i will have to come back 300 m back, because i got lost on the course ( was following one boy and wasn't watching the ground - signs). By this time about 6 people took me over. If only i didnt get lost i might have been yet before all these people - who knows - I was hardly walking so they would have passed me anyway, but this way it was really stupid. I didnt stretch so during night i couldnt sleep because of the pain, and i had diarrhea. Will I ever do a race again? I dont know WRONG LIST OF HOW AND WHEN PEOPLE GOT TO THE STATIONS. THAT REALLY SUCKS. If the course was better marked and they counted well when I got out of water, I would feel more comfortable. Last updated: 2007-07-22 12:00 AM
