So this brought me back to looking up IMFL poop guys kona results. not too shabby:
82     09:13:01 1778 Scheall, Brian             USA USA   8 M25-29   1:04:07    2:54  5:02:37    2:42  3:00:44

82nd overall, 8th for age group

I'm actually a little disappointed by IMFL poop guy's Kona results.  You figure he would at least podium at Kona...or poop his pants trying.

So weird that this thread got bumped today of all days.

My son made it through both naps this weekend without a diaper and without any incidents, and I thought of this thread for some reason when I was coming down the steps.

And now here it is.

Classic. True or not, this was a great read. Never seen this thread before, but then again I probably never used the search feature for any of the keywords that would describe this thread.

Only posting in this thread because it was linked in the recent thread and some threads need to have at least an annual resurrection.

This is one of those threads.

So, over/under for pages this thread will go:  7

What you got?  I say over.

Over. This thread is so full of win it will be bumped for years and years to come.

I think this over/under bet needs updated to...let's say... "16 pages by 2016". You taking over or under?

Under.  It's only grown 3 pages in the last 4 years.

Paulettejo - 2009-03-16 9:36 AM Well, I did a long ride on Sunday with a group.  I kind of have bathroom problems, and I asked one of my friends what I should do.  She said "just go on the bike."  Excuse me if what follows is somewhat lude.  At the midway point we stop and nearly bonked, so I grabbed some hot tamales, lays chips, and a red bull...I felt so much better, but that soon got worse.  So about 40 miles into my ride, I'm chatting up with the riding group when the urge hit me.  I really didn't want to tell them to stop - hey, it sounds like people do this all the time.  So I lifted up off my seat and pushed.  Kind of felt gross - like I was wearing depends or something.  I do ride and adamo, so I'm not necesarily sitting on my butt the entire time, so I though I'd be safe.  I poured water on myself to try to oxidize the smell.  I was fine - a little uncomfortable - for about 5 miles when someone next to me started yelling - "oh , oh !"  Well it appears that even with the elastic band, tri shorts don't keep in everything.  It was running down my leg.  Now I felt uncomfortable.  I asked her "what do you usually do?  DO you carry bags, like I do when I walk my dog."  She furiously sped away.  This was one hot mess.  I live in AZ, and it got to 80...not to mention I had to ride another 40 miles like this...the chaffing is unbearable.  So in a long winded way, what, first of all is the ettiquite for going to the bathroom on your bike during group rides? 2) Is there anything that you can buy/do to alleviate the nastiness of #2 (bags, bike toliet seat?)?

LMAO!!!  PJ ... this is exactly why I love you!!!!  I cannot believe I missed this ride.  Maybe our pal Trixie can help.  Dude.

OMG woman!  You crack me up. Much like I do during ultras....and you probably do as well, I just drop trou and GO!!  But... GET OFF THE BIKE FIRST!!  *breath deep* We will talk while I'm pacing you in May.  Maybe there will be a real world class situation. Don't be afraid, I'll talk you through it.

oh, and remind me NEVER to ride behind you.

oh so happy that this was quoted since the original is not showing up!!! forgot how funny it is !!!

I'm so glad someone revived this for those of us newer to the site. This is a classic read. By the way; I couldn't even get myself to pee on the bike during IMTX, how on earth could you poo?
