dursofd - 2007-04-24 12:44 PM We're all getting a GU sports backpack.

Yup.

Got my tech-T, jersey, and shorts today! Also got the 2XU wetsuit offer card.

Season's first race on May 6th, so just in time.

Still waiting on: GU Flask with Bike Mount (item #1200), and Mathonr Lite small waist pack (item #1206).

The tritop is tight as hell. I think i'm going to ask to exchange it. The tri-shorts feels great, has more padding than the desoto or javelin trishorts I have. The tech shirt is pretty cool too. I can use it for a marathon or something.

Just heard back from our friends at Sports Street Marketing. While there is an outside chance it might could possibily have the potential to be delivered by tomorrow, the team gear is more likely to arrive next Monday or Tuesday ... meaning no racing St. Anthony's in the Team Gu colors.

Still have Beast of the East H-IM, a Century, Escape from Alcatraz and IM CdA within the next 8 weeks, so plenty of opportunities to rack in the points

Awesome!

I probably won't see mine until next week as well, but no big deal as my first tri isn't until the 12th.

Rock on Team Gu!

I got my stuff yesterday.  For me, the tech shirt is great, the tri top is super comfy, but the shorts are tight around the legs.  Will they let us exchange it?  I didn't think that was allowed.

I'll let you know either way. I emailed them late last night but didn't hear back from them. If not, i'll trade someone's extra large tri-top for my large

I think a BT swap meet might be in order for the sake of time. I'm hoping my stuff fits perfectly, but.....

Once everyone has their stuff, let's see who needs what. If I have something I need to exchange, I'll post it here first.

UPS already came today to deliver stupid educational books for the kids instead of my Gu gear other stuff, so it looks like a 'no go' for St. Anthony's this weakend

The good news is that our tri-club (North Atlanta Multi-Sports) came up with an awesome LG singlet to wear this weekend.

I got home and tried my stuff on.  Its all too small.  I think I could go up in the tech shirt too.  So, if anybody out there has Larges and needs Mediums, lemme know and we can swap.

My guess is that this brand of clothing runs small. If I had to buy tri-clothing myself, it would not be this brand, i'd go over the what javelin used for their uniform (I think it was sugio) or Desoto. I'm not a big guy, 5'10" and about 165 and the large was too small for me. I know it's suppose to be tight but i'm talking small like, it's riding up my stomach and back when I just stand there.

Anyways, I just sent mine back for the x-large.

Does anyone remember if one of the choices was xx-large or was x-large the biggest size?

All these posts are making me nervous, I haven't gotten my stuff yet, but I feel like i"ll be needing bigger sizes...I got a small tri-top, I hope it fits, or there's someone out there who actually wants to size down!!!

Ruh roh ......... I'm 6'-1" and ordered a Large ......... because that's what I always race in.

But at 175 we'll see how it fits when I get it.

Im 6'1", 180 lb and my chest is 39".  I got the medium on, but it was TIGHT.  I think the large wouldve been perfect on me.  I have a large in the Javelin stuff too and thats perfect for me.  I like the jersey snug.

I got my GU clothes today, everything fits well. As far as the tri top goes, the chest feels good, but it slides up the stomach and bunches, is that normal, or should i try and find a medium somewhere?

The funniest thing is how everyone has told their family member to call them when a package comes for them as if they can do something about it when they are at work. I guess we all have a kid inside all of us

And I wonder which brave soul will post pics first Rick?
