I redeemed my 50 for 3 pairs of socks and another cannister of GU20.  Those are what came yesterday.

I really have to hand it to the teamGU contact people.  They've been more than helpful about getting different sizes.

Anyway, I'm now getting a large pair of the tri shorts.  Hopefully these will make my legs happier.  I also have to agree that the women's top is great!  I really like the fit and the color.

I rec'd eveything except the bike mount. The Large tri-top and tri-shorts were too snug, so I've go to send them back for XL. But the medium run shirt fit great.

Did anyone race this weekend in their new TeamGU uniform?  How did it go?  Anyone brave enough to post their racing pictures that they are going to send in for points?  It's a slow day at work...

So, I have a 38" in chest and 33" waist, so when I initially ordered my gear I went to 2xu and looked at their size chart.  Both turn out to be mediums.  So I ordered mediums.  Got the Mediums in about a week and a half ago and they are wwaaaayyy too small.  Emailed Gu, got larges sent out.  Got the larges today.  Same thing...too small.  I can barely get the jersey over my shoulders. WTF?  I know theyre supposed to be snug, and I like my tri clothes like that, but this is too much.  Emailed Gu again asking for XLs....they're out and the 2nd shipment of them will barely cover the people that are already requesting them. Crappy. So, its looking like Im SOL, unless some other Gu'er out there wants to swap a XL jersey for my L.  If so, lemme know!!!!

I know, a lame pose.  But, this is the shot I'm submitting for points redemption...

BTW, re: 2XU sizing...I have a Size L non-GU 2XU tri-top, and it definitely runs "longer" in the midrift than the same Size L GU tri-top.  Weird.  Same company, two different cuts...

I just got word that they wont have enough XLs to cover me on the next shipment, so Im SOL.  Thats really crappy. They said that I can still get my pts though.  Just wear whatever Gu stuff and tell them the tri top doesnt fit, and theyll give me my pts.  Still...crappy.

I got my large today. Its no where near as tight as the Medium but its definately snug. I am going to keep it. It will stretch when I sweat. The problem with my medium bike jersies that I normally wear in tri's, is that they tend to get very baggy and heavy with sweat.

Problem solved for now

Does anyone know where we can check if the points we submitted were applied to our accoutns. Also, has anyone recieved the final gear they were missing, I am still waiting on a bike mount Gu Flask and a Marathoner lite.

Thanks for the updates, and hope everyone is having a good season.

I have everything I was owed.

I am kind of under the impression that you have to keep track of this yourself. The redemption form states that you have to send a pic in of you at race wearing your kit. Send three pics, get 150 points.

Hope everyone's season is going well, and all TeamGU clothing is comfortable and working nicely.  Has anyone used the pro deal offer yet?  If so, how does it work?

Seeing this thread reminded me of something. A while back, I sent in my medium for a large, and I emailed Brooke about it. I guess they don't have anymore and are not getting anymore from their supplier, so I got a pair of tri shorts instead. She said, as long as I remind them that I didn't get a tri top, that they would still honor the points.

I haven't needed the pro deal since I've already cashed in 200 points (the 50 they gave us, 50 for my sprint and the 100 I just got for Eagleman - still waiting for the Eagleman points stuff to arrive).  Since I got the $189 level I still have a decent amount of stuff.  I've gone through almost 2 cannisters of Gu2O but I've also ordered another cannister each time I redeem points, so still have 4 un-opened ones (and another on the way).

To use it, you just fill out the pro deal form and order away!  I think you use a credit card to pay for it.

So far this has best one of the best promotions/sponsorships I've had in my racing days.  The only thing that has been better was the year I finagled free bikes from Fuji when they sponsored my team.

I joined a local tri team so I have only worn the GU kit once, and that was for a mountain bike race

I did cash in 50 points for some merch and it came amazingly fast. I still have a ton of stuff left. I wont need anymore actual gels or GUH2O for the rest of the year
