Great suit for the price and very comfortable in the water. My first race in it was a 1/2 IM and there was no chafing or discomfort.

I have worn Asics in the past and am now back with them. These shoes are very comfortable. They seem to have a little extra support across the forefoot that feels good so far.

I really like this shoe. I have had limited knee pain since I switched. Even on the long pavement runs.

I have used this brand of shorts and bike jerseys for over a year now and absolutely love their products. I have used the same pair of tri shorts well over a hundred times for swims, biking, and runs. The pad does wear down over time but don't they all. I highly recommend trying a pair of their tri shorts before you spend twice the price on another brand.

For entry level, it seems like a good place to start.

In my opinion, best goggle on the market today. Total custom fit, low profile, interchangable with a bungee head strap, and the price is right. This is a no brainer.

you get what you pay for - You cant expect to impress the Ferrari's w/ a Fiat. But for the price, I couldn't find anything at the LBS, used on CL and you won't find anything close in value or quality at Wally-World or Target. Like I said in the strengths, its a good transition bike from a roadie to a tri bike. You can spend some time in aero so you can get the feel for it, but if you bonk, its too hilly or your tired, you can fall back to the roadie position.
Again, it's a good solid bike to start out with for your first couple of years. But if you get into the sport, or think you will, then you will probably want to upgrade at some point. If your plan is to just buy a roadie, put some aerobars on it, race a few races, and do not want to commit a lot of cash for the foreseeable future, then this is a good choice.

Speedo Men's Jammer Endurance (2008 and 2009) offers a great and durable jammer which has been a great suit for me as I have only recently gotten into swimming. I couldn't be happier with it!

I love Garmin outdoor products and use them for running, cycling, geocaching, hiking and kayaking and I swear by the products. I love my 705 and the data it provides. It's nice to have the data for my logs so I can compare my improvements and its nice to have the maps when I have to ride in a new city because work has me out of town and my bike is with me. I use the 705 each time I'm on the bike and I'm always happy with it, I would buy another unit in a hot second if anything ever happened to my first unit.

There is no BEST SHOE...it's the one that's BEST FOR YOU. I tried Mizuno about 2 years ago, and it's the perfect shoe for me. It has taken me through several big races and thousands of miles of training, and I've NEVER had a single problem with them, this one included.

You can practically feel this thing, tight around the lower knee, holding the ITB band in front of the knee and keeping it from rubbing. Obviously, stretching and RICE is the answer to an ITB issue, but in a bind, this thing really came through.

Overall good shoe. Choice made easy by having a running assessment, and then being given a variety of choices. Went with the shoe that helped most AND felt the best.

Blackwell really did their homework when they designed this saddle. I was really skeptical about spending that much on a saddle without riding it but it was well worth the risk.
