2008 was my first tri season and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a HRM. I thought this would be a great buy for the money, because I could at least use it for all three events.

Reading my HR accurately at all times has been problematic, but it does eventually normalize and I can at least somewhat trust the readings at the end of the workout.

It would be fair for me to point out that I have not contacted Customer Service regarding this problem. Maybe I just need a better chest strap or there is something they could do.

However, the eventual normalization of the readings and my plan to upgrade in the near future makes this something I'm willing to live with.

I need to look for another pair of goggles, ones that don't try to get all fancy with the band adjustments. I have had other speedo goggles in the past and will try another type.

A great tool that has helped me improve my pace utilizing the 201's pacing system. Easy to do intervals and track weekly running history and totals.
$99.00 sale

Great shoe - you can tell why it is a shoe of the year once you take them out on a run

Quality neutral/neutral+ shoe. Definitely need to buy a separate pair of laces to adjust tension, but performance is never a question with these shoes. This is my second pair of Pegasus' and probably not my last

Great shoe. I've never bought Nike before but this was a good option. Again, I could have saved a few dollars buy buying an off brand.

Good bike for the money. It has lasted as well or better then any other of the many MTB bikes I've owned and this one can XC race without any mods.

I am very happy with the bike, the value and the service from Bikes Direct in Gilbert. I recommend the bike and shop to anyone in the Phoenix/Mesa area. Tell Steve that Scott gave him a rousing review on the board. :)

I don't really need to much support-the Float is the least supportive of the 'Syncro'-framed models. I took it out for two long runs right off the bat (6 and 9 miles) and LOVED them. I did, however, find that you have to lace them losely (or so it seems). They feel fast, firm, yet cushioned. I WAS a die-hard ASICS fan, but I think I've found a new shoe company.
