Ease of use
I love the laces. While I should replace with some quick lacing system, I love the laces. They are slightly elastic and have never come untied.
Quality of Construction
Again I love the laces. The upper mesh single feels great.
Lowered to a 3 because of lifespan.
Fit
Aside from going up a 1/2 size everything is great.
Comfort
I love running sockless. No issues.
Adjustability
They are shoes, aside from tying them loose or snug no real adjustability.
Durability
Maybe it is the way in which I run, but I feel that for the mileage I have on the shoes that the area that is worn on on both shoes should not be. The rest of the sole is fine. Both shoes have an area between the size pen cap and dime that is very worn out.
Value
I got a good deal.
Appearance
I love the red/gray. Although when I am wearing black running shorts, and white/blue tri top, they do clash.
Customer Service
Its Pearl Izumi, they tend to be
Performance
I have loved the shoes, and run without issues in them.
Strengths
Comfort. Style. Sockless running. Unlike my Newtons I can wear these sockless and feel comfortable.
Weakness
Durability? I run midfoot to forefoot style. I land on the outside and curve in towards my toes in these shoes and the outside is fairly worn out. Aside from that no real wear as of yet.
