"Best tires I've ever had. I train and race with them. Have a pair of tougher tires for the winter riding but haven't needed to change to a heavier tire with these. Love 'em. "dexter
Ease of use
Just put them on with and go. Simple.
Quality of Construction
Excellant. Folding bead.
Fit
Good
Comfort
Love the feel of the tire on the road. At 110 they are soft and comfortable fo rlong rides.
Durability
Living in flint central we can be plagued with flats from little sharp stones. I have had minimal flating. In 2000 miles I think I had 1-2 per wheee. Usually the sharp stone will become enbedded in tire and work its way through. DOn't really get that with the 4000's.
Value
Seem good for the price. Has a new compound for puncture prevention, Vectran. Works well
Appearance
Black is slick when you get then. Looking wet and fast. I use Armour All on them to return that finish. Only on the sides.
Performance
Love the way they feel. Corner nice. I trust them to hold and they do. SOft ride even at 120 psi going over bumps. Hold the road well and are response when dodging pot holes.
Strengths
Road handling especially in corners, slick look of tire. puncture resitance.
Weakness
Don't hold well to trainer but what road tire does. Thought is might be better on roller but still wore on them. Feel good on wet pavement but haven't pushed it to find out. Don't want to.
