"I'm not super techie, but love it! There are not many weeks where I don't ride it at a least once or twice - even during peak season for cycling."yorkd
Ease of use
Start the software, pick a course, ride!
Quality of Construction
Bullet proof - powder coat paint won't scratch. Solid mounting of the bike.
Fit
Have used with Road (700cc) and Mt. Bike tires.
Comfort
But my bikes fit!
Adjustability
Sort N/A, but the new Drag Factor is nice adjustment
Durability
Not much to go bad, but would unplug when not in use to avoid electrical surges, etc.
Value
Relative to a standard trainer, it's expensive. But the experience is more fun.
Appearance
Connected to a computer, riding - impressive.
Customer Service
I haven't needed much, but website is complete, lots of courses to download, etc.
Performance
Always works!
Strengths
Anything that gets me on the bike is worth it... The choice of courses gives a great variety instead of just another video. Once on the big, the SpinScan capabilities have improved my cycling. With the high tech, computer controlled software the array of data is outstanding. Needless to say, I could go on and on, suggest you visit the website
Weakness
It's oriented to the technical geek type. It's pretty easy to get on and ride, but to gain maximum benefit one needs to get into the details.
- 36 people use
- 1810 workouts logged
- 47204.59 miles / 2543.96 hours logged
Ease of installation
Due to the electronics, it's a bit more complicated to setup than a normal trainer assuming the Candence Sensor is installed.
