"Great being able to download all my cycling and running data and view graphs with HR after a ride or run. Has all the features I need without paying for a bunch of stuff I never use. I believe Polar has replaced this model with the 725x though. "drewb8
Ease of use
Pretty easy once you get used to it.
Quality of Construction
It has held up really well with one exception - the button covers on the side. I have had a couple of them fall off. Sent it back to Polar to have it replaced the first time. second time I didn't bother since you can just press the metal button & it's still usable.
Fit
Its a watch... Comes with a mount for your handlebars for when you use it as a cycling computer.
Comfort
Bigger than a normal watch but not like carrying a laptop on your wrist like with the Garmins.
Durability

Value
Does everything I wanted without too many bells and whistles I don't use.
Appearance
Not super stylish or anything but I'm not that bothered...
Customer Service
Polar was good about fixing the button (after my LBS lost it and never sent it back).
Performance
So far so good.
Strengths
Very versatile. I strap it onto my handlebars and use it as my bike computer (cadence, speed, distance, time, altitude, HR) with wireless sensors and then wear it like a watch for runs (HR, time). When I'm done I can download my workout to my computer and graph it all to my hearts content. Can also pre-load workouts and HR limits although I rarely do this. Waterproof so yo udon't have to worry about forgetting to put it on in T1 like with the Garmin.
Weakness
GPS would be nice. Can be tricky sometimes to pick up the cadence signal - have to get the position just right.
- 1 people use
- 2 workouts logged
- 28.64 miles / 1.94 hours logged
Ease of installation
Fairly easy to install - zip ties hold the sensors on but the mounting surface of the sensors is curved so if it doesn't match the curve of your bike (like mine) it can take a little adjusting to get right.
