"While SkirtSports has a great concept, good material, and flattering cuts, I found the tri-shorts, comfy at first, just didn't hold up as long as I would have liked for the money I paid."AdaBug
Fit
we are not all built as a mannekin.
regardless of claim, there is no such thing as a trishort grip that doesn't cause chub "roll"
Comfort
chamois not so great, does dry quickly but I found the stitching irritable on a longer ride, chafing inevitable as the shorts fit me right at saddle's end, only thing to do was to pull the legs down once in a while to avoid chafe
Durability
I've had these for almost 1.5 years, hard wear, training mostly. The threads started pulling, grips pulling out...
just didn't hold up as well as my Zoot trishorts...which've been in use longer.
Value
good concept, decent cut women specific.
but mostly pay for the name & style as yet.
Appearance
seams follow female frame, cut minimizes
Customer Service
they went the extra step and "allowed" me to return something to the office in Boulder rather than ship it back, etc. That was nice.
Performance
dries quickly, but as I said, for really long rides/races I'd skip the skirtsport gear.
always ends up uncomfortable toward the end.
Strengths
Nice material, great concept, flattering design.
Weakness
Leg grips irritating, shorts began to wear out much earlier than I expected.
