"Haven't had it long enough to form a good opiniion on how it rides - only had it out on the road one time and it was windy as hell. "ColdRingo6
Ease of use
Just got on and pedaled - needed pedals so purchased Speedplay X5s.
Quality of Construction
Seems solid, very lightweight. Comes stock with 40mm carbon wheels and Continental race tires.
Fit
Paid for a professional fitting - good move. Jeff at Elite Cycling in Overland Park, KS.
Comfort
Bike is solid, definitely different geometry from my road bike, will take some getting used to.
Adjustability
Have adjusted the seat once, the clamps are a little odd with adjustable screws front and back.
Value
This was a great deal, the '08 Caliente was MSRP at $3400.
Appearance
Very nicely done paint on nude carbon - will probably add a burnt orange Longhorn sticker at some point.
Performance
So far, does well. Only have 32 road miles on it so far though.
Strengths
Light weight, solid, excellent mix of Dura-Ace, FSA, and Ultegra components. Cockpit is FSA Vision - added the 25mm spacers to my arm rests and 2 spacers on the steerer tube.
Weakness
Seat a little hard to adjust.
- 20 people use
- 445 workouts logged
- 17995.48 miles / 902.49 hours logged
Ease of installation
Took it to a professional for assembly and bike fit.
