"I love it. I do not run without it. Having all the data I need for my workouts is great and with all my traveling I know exactly how far I've ran for any city that I'm in that week. I think this is a great piece of equipment."Big-Man55
Ease of use
There are a few things that were a little tricky with the accessories like the footpod, which starts working when you start walking, not when you turn it on, and the cadence sensor. Aside of that I found this very easy to use and it is programmable so you get the data you want to see and it can be used for multisport, just not swimming.
Fit
Fits anyone, multiple arm bands for big or small wrists or to go over winter clothing.
Comfort
I hardly notice it once I'm out running with it.
Durability
My reset button has stuck a couple of times but I don't know if something was spilled on it with kids in the house. It's been dropped, kicked and fallen off stuff and functions just perfectly.
Value
I love the value of it and the data it gives. The 405 seemed to have some issues so I went with it and prefer the larger screen.
Appearance
It's not made to be pretty, and it's not really trying to be either. It's big but it works great.
Performance
I love how well it works and the data it gives me for my logs.
Strengths
Overall functioning. My heartrate monitor for my Garmin works so much better and easier than any other product I have used. It gives you so much data and the virtual partner is a great little tool also.
Weakness
It's big, it can't be used during a swim.
- 210 people use
- 6887 workouts logged
- 87596.9 miles / 11179.77 hours logged
Ease of installation
I found the Garmin Training Center software very easy to use, especially since I have used Garmin products for several years now.
