"Glad I purchased it. It worked as intended."LeviC
Quality of Construction
Seems great.
Fit
If it had just a bit more coverage in the front it would be perfect. The De Soto version has thicker neoprene and was tigheter but I didn't like the tightness around my chin. I also decided that if I was required to wear a race swim cap over the neoprene that maybe the thinner Zoot would be best.
Comfort
It was nice and comfy. My head didn't get cold at all. Just my face. Swimming in a lake in Utah on May 1st. The water was in the low 50's.
Adjustability
You can buy a S/M or a L/XL.
Value
Could always be cheeper. But well worth the $ when it stops you from getting a brain freeze!
Appearance
Let's face it. You look a bit goofy but it's function over form. I also like that the Zoot lettering was in a bright yellow so it gives a bit of visibility in the open water.
Performance
If it had just a bit more coverage in the front it would be perfect. Cold water protection is greatly improved.
Strengths
It worked and was comfy.
Weakness
Could give a bit more coverage on the forehead. Some may prefer a more snug fit.
