"If you are looking for a great entry level bike with a ridgid aluminum/carbon blend with great components and tasty price tag(under $1,400.00, Jim Felt has the bike for you. I have put over 7,500 miles on this bike since September 2008. It will get the job done."dma

This bike is fairly light for a moderate entry level road bike. Nice aluminum/carbon blend. Carbon rear stays, carbon seat post, carbon forks.

6'4" 61cm bike is stiff and uncompromising for bigger cyclists.

The aluminum dampens vibrations and stays true with minimum flex on descents and hard corning.

The aluminum frame will hold up to minor crashes/has stood up to moderate crashes (3)to be exact... My Z65 is spec'd out with Shimano Ultegra componets. The Rear derailluer is Shimano Dura-Ace. This groupset will hold up for years of tough riding.

Aluminum/Carbon frame, Ultegra Components for under 1,400.00. Need I say more?

Midnight Blue, so dark that many times people think that it is black, until the bike gets in the sun, then the blue shimmers with the fleck detailing imbedded in the paint job. Tight all around!!!

Handles well stands up to touring, centuries, sprints, duathlons, triathlons, and high mileage. In the fall, when I was building my base, I was putting 250 miles a week. This bike can stand next to bikes twice the price and go the distance.

The aluminum frame is a strength for beginning triathletes. I don't want to scare any newbies, but facts are facts, we all fall/crash when we start out. An aluminum frame is cheaper, relatively light, and more ridgid than carbon. It is a great entry level bike.

This bike obviously isn't incredibly aero. I took out the spacers from under my stem to drop an inch, plus I flipped my stem to drop two more inches. I have profile design T2+ aero bars on my bars, and yes, this has made a huge difference.
