"With a firm yet comfortable ride and a cutout that goes all the way through the nose for multiple riding positions, this saddle is great."triathlonner

Installs as easily as any saddle - standard rails.

Position derrierre above saddle, descend, sit. What could be easier?

If there was an option for 4.5, i would have selected it. Overall the quality of consruction on this saddle is outstanding, but on the underside of the saddle sent to me, it looks like the leather under the nose doesn't quite cover as far underneath on one side as it does on the other. I don't think it's going to let go, but I looked at it for a good long time after I took it out of the box, wondering whether i should contact the manufacturer about it. So far, it's been fine.

My old saddle (Selle San Marco Ponza) was under 140mm. This is 153mm, and i was worried it might feel too wide. As it is, it feels great.

Incredibly comfortable. I found this when looking specifically for a saddle that has the cutout in the middle. My Ponza was pretty firm, and without being able to feel the firmness online I couldn't quite decide between Koobi's "Tri" or their firmer "Sprint Tri" model. I decided to go with the less firm "Tri" model, and haven't been disappointed. It's just ever so slightly softer than my Ponza, and there's only a thin layer of gel so it's very comfortable without being squishy. And the cutout going all the way through the nose is fantastic! I was having some "blood cutoff" and "numbness" issues with my Ponza that have completely disappeared with the Koobi.

Slide the rails back and forth in the mounting bracket. What else is there to adjust on a saddle, really?

(4)

I rate this a 4 because it SEEMS durable, but time will tell - i've only had it a month.

There are cheaper saddles out there with a cutout, for sure, but the light weight and comfortable yet firm ride i get out of this for a hundred bucks makes it well worth it.

Kindof plain - different color options would have been very nice (my bike is blue, and I try to get blue accessories and components whenever I can).

OMG! Service so far is fantastic. I ordered this from their website www.Koobi.com on a Saturday and had it in my hands on Tuesday. Invoice had a handwritten thank you from the company owner. Their return policy is quite nice - full refund within 30 days; 60% refund within 90.

So far it holds my butt up well, keeps the blood and nerve impulses flowing to my "vital areas", and is very comfortable without being squishy. I really like this saddle.

* At around 250g, it's fairly light (if you're not a total weight weenie)
* Comfortable without feeling squishy
* Cutout goes all the way through the nose, which is nice for triathlon riding in multiple positions
* Lycra covering does well with wet triathlon shorts
* Lightning fast shipping!

* Not a real fancy looking saddle - doesn't "look as cool" as some others (could be a plus for some)
* Only one color option in this model
* More expensive than some other brands (but not as expensive as some others, and well worth the couple extra $$)
* As far as I know, only available online (can't test-ride or feel one in advance)
