"This is my favorite suit so far. They always have deals going on so it is worth the wait. Fit is crucial in a wetsuit and they nailed it on this suit. the graphics are limited which is no biggie. Don't be i n big hurry when purchasing it, expect a delay or two."mikep
Quality of Construction
Solid construction. I've tossed it around a bit, I am not one to handle my stuff gently. No rips snags yet.
Fit
This is my 3rd brand of wetsuit and I love the fit of this one the best! Not too tight around the neck or armpits. These are usually problem areas, but not on this suit. It feels custom fit.
Comfort
The only place I need a little Body Glide on is the back of my neck, but other that that, it fits very well.
Adjustability
Not much to adjust on a suit. I do notice the velcro on the neck is always getting stuck to the inside material and making little "scruffy" marks when I pull it loose. Sticky stuff!
Durability
Seems to be well made. Some suits will rip easily if your not careful, but so far, so good. I have heard others complain that Xterra suits rip easy, but I haven't had any issues.
Value
If your patient, Xterra seems to always be offering deals on their products. 30-50% is not uncommon. If you have a tri club, give them a call to see if they will swing a deal with your club. Nearly everyone in my club has Xterra wetsuits.
Appearance
It's a black wetsuit. I have seen cooler ones, but it doesn't look bad.
Customer Service
This is one area I think they could improve. Often times there are delays in shipping or an extra few calls needed to speed things up. In the end, they will pull through. just don't be in a desperate hurry when ordering.
Performance
Feels good, good rubber thickness throughout. Feels fast.
Strengths
Great fit and feel. It doesn't constrict the neck or shoulder areas as many suits do.
Weakness
Customer service could be a little more on the ball.
Ease of use
Easy enough. Put it on like any other westuit...one leg at a time. A little tight to pull off around the forearms, but could just be me.
