"At this price range, and for complete 105 components, I liked the look and feel of this bike over the Specialized Allez, Fuji Roubaix RC and Trek 2.1."dbasch9
Quality of Construction
Aluminum frame is very good for my 280 lb frame.
Fit
Started out with a fitting, which helped me get used to my first road bike. Haven't had to make any adjustments.
Comfort
My first Road Bike, but I'm having no problems with being comfortable.
Adjustability
Easy to install custom parts.
Durability
I've fallen on it a couple times so far, from user error (not clipping out of both pedals at stops), with no problems. Although I race with 25's, I put 28c tires on it during training to absorb some of the road impact for a big guy. No noticeable wear or damage.
Value
Comparable to other brands
Appearance
Red, white and black speed graphics are hot.
Performance
For a road bike, it really packs a punch, even with my size. I've been passing 20 times more than being passed.
What sold me on this bike versus the Specialized Allez, Fuji Roubaix RC and Trek 2.1, was when I got it and pedaled, it seemed to move easier and respond quicker.
Strengths
Strong aluminum frame. Very good response. Sweet style and graphics, in addition to the new, edgey Scott brand, make this bike a must see in action.
Weakness
Aluminum is strong, but heavy.
