Quality of Construction

These babies are rockin hot! Nike has put most of the spotlight on the new LunarTrainers and LunarGlides, but the Run Avant+ is a Grade A+ quality shoe

Fit

The shoe fits like a glove. Unlike other shoes i've tried, Nike puts extra space in the toebox for a better feel. Not too wide, not too big. For the first time, i didn't have to go a size bigger or a size smaller to find the perfect fit for a shoe.

Comfort

The mesh front and sides help cool your feet on those long runs. The Sole is made from the same material as the LunarGlides so there isn't much difference with feel during running. When running, you can't even feel the shoes on.

Durability

I haven't had these shoes long enough to know actually how long these shoes will last, but from the looks and feel of it, I think these shoes will be with me for a long time.

Value

With the mostly the same materials and an almost lighter feel than the LunarGlides, the Run Avant is a much better deal at about $30 less. It certainly made up my mind.

Appearance

It comes in four different styles, but the one i picked was grey with bright neon orange mesh on the toebox and the swoosh. There is a small reflective strip on the back for visibility for cars. With these on at night, theres absolutely no reason why that idiot would hit you in his car.

Performance

I've put quite a few miles on these babies on the first two weeks i've had them. I just can't stop wearing them. They keep my feet comfortable throughout the whole run. Before these shoes, I had the Asics 2130s. I had to wear orthotics with those shoes because the support wasn't enough. With these shoes, i didn't need them.

Strengths

Overall great support, perfect fit, nice appearance, great durability. Great price. Beats a higher priced shoe by miles. An all around shoe for the runner, the walker, the tip-toer, and for you!
