"Good entry level bike for a beginner."jeffwatts
Ease of use
Immediately upgraded the seat, handlebars, tires and wheels. I know...why not just buy a better bike. I am Air Force and stationed in Okinawa Japan. Not many 6'3" male bikers here so I went with what I could find. Love the bike though...definately an intermediate to entry level.
Quality of Construction
I have over 500 miles and have no issues...solid.
Fit
First ride out I did 40+ miles with tennis shoes. 58 was perfect for me.
Comfort
The aluminum frame is a bit rough...what else would you expect right?
Adjustability
I have the local bike shop do all the maintenance.
Durability
I have had no issues with durability.
Value
I think for a few $100's more you could get a significantly better bike...by Japan standards.
Appearance
The blue and white colors match and go together well. I have received several nice comments on the looks.
Customer Service
I have not had to deal with Trek.
Performance
A bit heavy but power transfer is nice.
Strengths
Solid frame with low maintenance. Reliable name...Trek!
Weakness
A bit on the heavy side and lower quality components are standard.

Ease of installation
I bought it at a local bike store in Japan and it came assembled.
