"I decided to go with rollers as my choice for indoor bike training at home. I liked the fact that with rollers you work on technique and balance. The integrated magnetic resistance also tosses in some power work. Seems like a win win situation all around.
I've been extremely satisfied with the product so far. After my initial ride just trying to get the hang of them, I've put in two training runs of 45 and 75 minutes. It still isn't riding outside, but this thing forces you to pedal smooth, maintain good balance and I need to mop the floor up underneath me when I'm done. Extremely happy with them. "xeon
Ease of use
Rollers aren't easy, but with a little time spent on them you should get the hang of them. Instructions suggest a door frame, I used a pole in my basement.
Quality of Construction
Looks to be excellent so far.
Adjustability
You can move the front roller to fit a variety of bikes... easy to adjust.
Durability
Hard to say with less than a weeks use.
Value
Considering what I got them for, they are an extreme value. (Actually my wife got them as a Christmas gift)
Appearance
Look fine to me...
Customer Service
Top notch so far... appears I was missing a small cap and CycleOps is not only sending me one, but they will be sending me a few "just in case". After trying to contact another Customer Service today on the phone, that I can't get through to... I had a live body @ CycleOps in relatively no time. Pretty impressed by their customer support really.
Performance
Seems to do what they were designed to do.
Strengths
Rollers with built in 6 modes of resistance.
Weakness
None so far except there is a learning curve... unless you get the front fork adapter you will spend some time figuring how to just ride them.
