Seems very durable. Marketing materials indicate its waterproof. I haven't had any issues to date.

You can strap it to your seat post or rear stay. It also detatches quickly and has a clip that can be placed on say your running gear waist band.
Durability
In all fairness, I've only used this product for a couple of months. I'm sharing my review because its getting dark out earlier and everyone should have a product like this on their bike for evening rides.
Value
A very very effective tail light for your bike that also serves a dual purpose as a personal light for early morning or evening runs.

Wildly bright "strobe" LED flash is visible from a great distance. Unbelievably bright and effective for the price paid.
Strengths
> Incredible Visibility, eye catching pattern and also a more subdued solid always on pattern more suited for group rides.
> Compact vertical light weighs only 3.2 oz
> Includes bike mount and a clip mount that can be used for other applications (running shorts/pants)
Weakness
The only thing I've come up with is the same with any battery powered light. It will fail at some time. However, it does have a reflective type design that will provide increased visibility.
