"If you believe in the barefoot running philosophy but don't want to run completely barefoot, these are a great a great option!"famelec

They're hard to put on at first. You'll be trying to get your toes in the proper toe holes only to find that you're trying to squeeze two toes in one hole! After a few weeks they're much easier to slide your feet in, more due to learned technique rather than stretching I think.

Appears good. I've run just over 50 miles so far, all on asphalt. They're holding up find so far. I've heard of people getting 800+ miles. I suspect the soles will last longer than the stitching.

8 of my 10 toes fit perfectly. My index toes, which are a bit longer than my big toes, fit tight. My right index toe is a bit too tight for running. The Vibram toe holes for the big toe and index toe are about the same length; if your index toe is longer you may have to go a size up. I'm thinking of getting a larger size.

It feels virtually like you're barefoot, which is the point! I've run sockless down to around 35 degrees with no issues.

If you can run 400+ miles in these, which many people seem to do, they're a better value than running shoes.

You either like how they look or you hate how they look. Not much in between!

Great durability (from what I've read).
You're running barefoot without running barefoot!
Forces you to learn to run with a forefoot strike.
Maybe reduces injuries -- time will tell for me.

Fit may be an issue if you have long index toes.

Since these "shoes" cause most people to change their running style, you need to ramp up the mileage very slowly. I started with 1 mile at a time and am at 3+ miles about two months later; others start at less than a mile.
