"A good bike for a great price. I can only hope my skill improves to a point where I use everything it has to offer."Gumwars

This is my first experience with the 105 shifters. Before this bike I rode a 1996 Giant Sedona with trigger shifters. So far my only complaint is the rear deraileur. It's been adjusted once during the first 100 miles I've put on it and still doesn't want to shift right.

For the price paid the construction is awesome. It isn't a carbon fiber dream like the Tarmac, but is gets the job done with a mostly aluminum frame and carbon components in the fork and seatstays.

I'm a funny built fella, with ape like arms and somewhat shortish legs for my frame. Sorta like a mutant gorilla. That being said, my bike fits well. The crew at the bike shop where I picked it up did their job well, making sure everything was just so. My only beef is that as my skill improves I know I'll be back to have it fiddled with. In fact, I think the handlebars could be a bit lower...

I read elsewhere on the internet that the saddle on the 2009 Allez was pure hell. I'm here to debunk that contention with the 2010. My longest ride so far has been just over 20 miles with no permanent damage to my posterior.

I doubt you could do better for $1400.

The red Allez was pretty cool but the black and silver is too dope.

For my skill level (which is puny) it's the fastest bike I've ridden.

Good components
Carbon bits where it counts
Great price

Twitchy shifter
Will need adjustments after the first 50 miles
