"I bought this bike new 3 years ago. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy or even be able to finish a triathlon. My wife had done one on a mountain bike and was disappointed with her bike split.I bought 2 Dawes, one for her and one for me. I was really impressed with the construction. It had 105 shifters and was really smooth. I never raced on the bike and it was quickly replaced by a Duel for racing. I kept it in the basement as a back-up but have put it back in service to keep from putting too many miles on my tri-bikes. I had almost forgotten how much I liked this bike. I now ride it about 90% of my training. I would not hesitate to buy another or recommend this bike to a friend."pschriver

Value. No better deal at this price. Good components. Comfortable ride.

Zero Bling factor. The aero bars that came with it are fairly worthless.
