"This are some excellent mid-runner shoes and if you wish to get some good, lite shoes, not break the bank, and feel very comfortable while doing it, buy these and slip them on! "Michael_Mauldwin

Slides right on with speed laces and there is a tug strap that couldn't be more convenient!

I have always found that Asics are great shoes. Their durabiity is outstanding, even on hard road surfaces, they tend to last about six months of normal road use.

I used to run in NBs back in the early 80's but after switching to Asics, I never looked back. I am pronated and these are some of th best shoes that I have every owned, even amoung the Asics.

Extremely comfortable with a very good footbed and shock absorbant heel cousion. Excellent arch support.

You can tighten these so they are glued to your feet. However, I prefer to use speed laces and I keep them fairly loose. The heel grips your foot so there is little lift when running. Ocassionally the shoe laces will loosen depending upon distance and terrain.

As previously stated, these shoes hold up very well especially on hard road surfaces.

Great shoe for the price! I've owned more expensive shoes and these are worth their weight!

I have the orange stripe version and with the orange speed laces I think they look pretty sharp. What they do not have is that shiney plastic that so many shoes come with now days, including many Asics.

Love them and they feel great, even on extended runs. Not as lite as some racing shoes, but they are lite!!!

Good construction, attention to QA during manufacturing, price range for a durable mid-runner

Heel wears prematurely for pronated persons that run mainly on hard surface. Of course, they still last 6 mo + so that's an opinion
