Fit never changed, the shoes were always comfortable even when getting up in the miles.

These shoes were expensive at close to $100 but they will allow quite a bit of mileage on them...so your Cost per mile turns out to be decent in the end.

Love the black and gold look, never show any dirt even after trail runs or runs in the rain

Performance

Like I said earlier, I would still be running in this model even with the big heel if the model had not been revamped.

Strengths

Great shoes...held up great. Never had any shin, ITB band issues,etc. while putting close to 500 miles on these.

Asics screwed up when the revamped this model!

Weakness

A little heavy with a big heel. I am midfoot guy so all the heel weight was really unnecessary.
