"It's a support shoe for the overpronator. It works. It doesn't work as well as the predecessor, but it works.
The new DNA is welcome, but it isn't exactly a perfect marriage into this shoe."LostSheep
Ease of use
Same as the installation.
Quality of Construction
It's a good shoe with good layout and design. However, the thing that made the Beast (model 10) so popular was the support. This model (model 11) is lacking a little around the ankle. I feel this model of shoe has more left to right rocking than it's predecessor.
Fit
Order a size up.
Comfort
Brooks did a great job of shaving the weight down on this model as opposed to the previous models.
Adjustability
You can tighten it and loosen it as needed.
Durability
So far so good. If the previous shoes are any indication, I would expect 300-350mi before breaking down.
Value
It holds up pretty well and manages to take the abuse and keep coming back.
Appearance
They're not sexy, nor bright and flashy, but they work.
Strengths
It's definitely ligher weight which targets those needing a support shoe but lighter.
It still does a good job at support.
Weakness
The support it provides is a little less than the model 10. If pronation is a big problem and the 10s worked, I'd stick with them instead of the newer 11s.

Ease of installation
It's a shoe. Just put it on.
