After you have the laces done up to your preference these are an easy on/off shoe

SO far so good. Have not run into any problem areas for me, will revise as they start to wear if issues pop up.

Fit

This is an area i'm extremely happy with so far.

I've been running in zoots (the advantage and tempo TT) for the past 3 years and this is the first time outside of those in a while. They fit very similar with a wider toe box not always found in a race model shoe, they fit snugly but not tight. I did size down a half size from the zoots as they seem to run a bit bigger (the brooks). I've since talked to three other athletes making the switch to the Racer ST from zoot and asics that have confirmed this.

Comfort

I've had the shoes just over a week and have run approx 70 miles in them thus far. The first two days I ran into a bit of foot pain (felt almost like cramping), and went in on day three to exchange for a full size smaller. Back out that night i did 12mi and all pain was gone. Make sure you get the right size, and you'll be happy. They offer a bit of stability in a light and flexible shoe. Feel is very similar to the zoots.

Durability

Nothing to report here yet. Again we'll see a few hundred miles down the road.

Value

Great shoe for the price. Its a fairly mid range price at 90 or so depending on where you look. You can go up, or down. For a racer/ltwt trainer its on the middle of the lineup

Appearance

I've got to give it to brooks. WIth the number of red/white shoes out there, this was one is simple but sharp looking. Just enough red and black to add some flash without being overdone. The flashy black and red laces look awesome.

Sadly they were out of the yellow/white shoe, but it looks amazing as well.

Performance

Can't say enough here. have not run less than 8 miles at a pop in them so far and ZERO complaints once i was in the correct size.

Strengths

Light, comfortable, great looking. What else is there to say here. I've never run in brooks before this, but i'll be back for another pair once these wear down.

Weakness

None so far, just make sure you test them out and get the right size.
