"Awesome ride - highly recommend trying one out at a demo."cobratodd

The 29" wheels took about 1 hour to get used to, but once you did, there is NO STOPPING YOU!

The ONLY issue I have with quality so far is in the paint job, the red anodized finish looks a bit thin near the head-set, which seems like a cosmetic manufacturing error, but overall the quality has been exceptional.

The LARGE size frame fit me well, I'm 6'-2" and 218 pounds. I had to juice up the air pressure in the forks and rear shock to take my weight, but the geometry works soooooooo much better for my height thatn a typical 26" wheel ride.

Much more comfortable than my Scott Ransom 20 (Carbon fiber) which was a medium (too small for me).

(4)

Rear schock has the Pro Pedal feature on the shcok, would prefer to have the "lock-out" near the left handgrip on the bars, only because my Scott has it and thats where I got used to it.

So far so good - about 50 miles on it, all cross country/all mountain riding

Price is high, but you get what you pay for.

Mine is the Hot Tomalie Red - pretty cool color. I wish they had the Tang orange in stock at the time, but still looks great in red.

No issues so far

The bike rips - the real test will be this summers off road triathlon series in Farmington CT. Last year I ran the Scott on 9 of the 10 events so I have a great Baseline to measure against. This year, the Niner RIP 9 will crush the bike event and I will post the results.

Rolls over much more than the 26" wheel bikes. Fits taller riders better, light weight

The size for a shorter rider because of the wheels. Blasting up inclines at a slow pace is a bit of a challenge, but once you develop the power in the legs, you can compete with the littler bikes and kick butt on the down hills!!!!
