"All in all, pretty decent shoe. If I could avoid the hot spots somehow, I would wear these for 100% of my runs. Unfortunately this is not a possibility. I would be willing to give them 1 more try, maybe a size up, but I wouldn't pay over about $60 for them."LockOut
Quality of Construction
I haven't had any problems with them as of yet. I have been running outdoors in the snow and salt, as well as indoors on a track, and don't have any major signs of wear yet.
Fit
Decent fit, for sure, but make sure to get the right size. My current size fits well with no socks, but wear anything on my foot, and they cut off circulation.
Comfort
Sort of a minimlaist shoe, not much support, which I don't mind at all. More than, say, VFFs, but nowhere near as much as my Asics Gels.
I have been having some rubbing issues on runs longer than about 10k, and on shorter runs as well if I don't use bodyglide.
Adjustability
As mentioned, the sizes don't allow for much change.
Durability
See "Quality of Construction" section.
Value
I got these at an outlet store for $20, so I can't complain about them at all. I need to find a way to minimize the rubbing, though.
Appearance
Not for everyone (my girlfriend calls them my "ugly shoes"), but they are bright and funky, which is my preference, and seems to be big in the tri community!
Performance
Rubbing issues make them hard to wear lots, but I love the feel of them other than that. Not too much cushion.
Strengths
Looks, durability, ease of transition, feel while running
Weakness
Relatively high number of hot spots.

Ease of installation
Shoes come with both regular laces and elastic laces. Very convenient, as the elastic laces actually match the bright colours of the shoes, and make them great for transitions
