Ease of use
My first road bike and entry into the world of triathlon. Naturally after a year I needed an upgrade to an official tri bike but I still use this regularly for training rides.
Quality of Construction
Solid, All-aluminum frame and made in the USA. Can't beat that right?! =)
Fit
Frame fit my body type well. As a small guy, I needed a bike that held its weight and wouldn't blow me all over the place during high winds.
Comfort
There can be a bit of jitter from riding due to it's construction. Obviously carbon frames can mute that vibration but for an aluminum bike it is fairly comfortable.
Adjustability
Adjustment only required seat post adjustments.
Durability
Pretty durable bike. I ride this everywhere. It is my commuter bike as well as my training bike.
Value
Great value and just above the ~$1000 price range. Great starter if you are testing the waters of triathlons.
Appearance
I have the black with red lettering. It looks fast!!
Customer Service
The good folks at Bike Doctor Waldorf assisted me in this purchase. Their lifetime tuneups and warranty are great.
Performance
This bike is a great ride and can perform with the best roadies out there. It may not be of the lightest materials but performance-wise this bike can zip.
Strengths
Solid construction, sturdy, responsive, durable.
Weakness
Vibration (common on aluminum), weight
- 61 people use
- 3153 workouts logged
- 94787.56 miles / 5224.82 hours logged
Ease of installation
I bought this bike stock with Shimano 105 components.
