"I've read a lot of bad reviews for this product that I attribute to operator error. (Norman Stadler uses this exact model...if it really sucked as bad as these other reviewers say, would a pro Ironman champion with unlimited funds use this? Come on now). Yes, if you fill it all the way to the absolute top of the bottle you will get your drink all over you. So leave some room at the top...my training route has some very rough roads and train tracks, and I have never spilled a drop of fluid. The comment about the straw not being long enough is easily solved by attaching the desired length of vinyl tubing, available at any hardware store. I love this thing & recommend it. I will say the negative comments about the sponge are spot on, though - that thing is ridiculous. "fastdog5

Cheapest aero drink holder on the market.
Appearance
Not bad, but every component on my bike but this is jet black, so it does stick out more than I'd like...maybe I'll paint it black!

I'm happy with this.

Ability to stay aero while hydrating.
Weakness
Yellow mesh "sponge" can be challenging to get it to stay put.

Ease of installation
My bars are a bit too wide for the bracket, though I picked up some velcro straps and was able to secure it pretty well.
