"Traditional #1 for a reason. If the last fits your foot there's no better shoe out there."Oldteen
Ease of use
Buckle easy to use & adjusts easy while riding.
Quality of Construction
None better.
Fit
I have multiple pairs if Sidi shoes & all fit consistently. Shimano almost as consistent, but makes can vary a lot for same size across diff styles.
Comfort
Superb. Also come in Mega for wider fit.
Adjustability
Velcro toe straps actually work, and buckle system is industry best (IMHO)
Durability
Uppers are still almost perfect after many 1000's of mi, inc multiple long events in rain. I've had $150 shoes not last a season so it's not like I'm easy on shoes.
Value
Pay a bit more up front, but upper & sole last & last. Plus buckle, strap, and heel pads are all replaceable at reasonable cost.
Appearance
Choice of black, white, silver.
Performance
Sole is great for triathlete & most spirited rec riders. I would go with one of Sidi's harder carbon soles for big sprinters.
Strengths
Comfort, durability, consistent fit.
Weakness
None so far
- 3 people use
- 40 workouts logged
- 1864.26 miles / 67.28 hours logged
Ease of installation
Grid markings for aligning cleats.
