"If you are looking for a high quality minimalist shoe, I think the Skora Base is a great option to look into. "ipull400watts

This would be a great option for a triathlete looking for a shoe that is super easy to get into during transition and is very light weight.

(5)

The quality of Skora's shoes are second to no other running shoe brand.

I love the glove like fit that the Skora Base has. It is zero drop, has a stitch down construction for sockless wear, an anatomical last and wide toe box to foot your foot, as well as a curved outsole heel and forefoot, no heel counter, and no shank. All this makes for an extremely flexible and great fitting shoe.

I have never experienced a hot spot, blister, or any type of discomfort from the shoes over 600 miles.

(5)

With a nylon X-strap up front and a heel strap in the back, the shoe is extremely adjustable.

The sole is fabricated from high density EVA foam. This means it has better ground feel than thicker shoes and has more durability at the same time. Over 600 miles wear is only slightly showing at the front of the sole under my toes.

Many feel this shoe is too expensive. However if you look at the price compared to many other shoes on the market, it is priced similarly to many other shoes. Also when looking at durability and built quality, I feel there is a lot of value in this shoe.

(5)

This is a very good looking shoe. Skora does a great job of matching performance and style.

(5)

Skora is very easy to reach on Facebook, Twitter, and through email.

I have 600 miles in my pair and they have performed great on snow, rain, trail, road, and up to the 50 mile ultra marathon distance.
