"If I can fix all the little bug points, this bike will be a steal at this price and a huge leap in performance over my Dual. Not ready to pull the trigger yet, but probably will. "windnsnow
Ease of use
First Carbon bike. First impression is that it is very fast. Corners like it is on a rail. Climbs like stink. I already have a dual with similar Dura Ace components, so the gears and brakes are very familiar to me.
Quality of Construction
Seems very solid. Not used to to gear changing and other sounds that resonate through the carbon fibre frame and crank arms. I have to look into the forks, they are the Wolf/True temper. I think these are the ones that were recalled.
Fit
Not quite sure about the fit, yet. It has been matched to my professional fit on the Dual. This bike has a shorter stack, so their may need to be more adjustments. I'm not that happy with the stock Selle San Marco saddle either.
Comfort
Haven't ridden anything but a road bike for 3 months. I'm not sure if the aches and pains are my old body or a comfort issue. A few more test rides will tell.
Adjustability
Infinitely adjustable with the Profile Design cockpit.
Durability
This bike was ridden for one season outdoors and then a second season on a trainer. Lots of cosmetic nicks, but the bike seems very solid
Value
$1000 Canadian. Seems like a good price if I can get it to fit me.
Appearance
The bike looks rough, but it is all cosmetic. A little spit and polish (as opposed to the current sweat and Gatorade) should make it like new.
Customer Service
Bike shop will make me happy. They always do.
Performance
Fast fast fast. Not twitchy. Corners well. Didn't stop as well as I hoped, but I think it has crappy pads.
Strengths
This is an Icon bike. It is fast and handles well. The price is amazing. Dura Ace gruppo is older, but still has lots of life in it.
Weakness
Used bike. Not sure what exactly the previous owner did with it - motocross, etc... Fork is questionable. It doesn't have it's original front Shimano wheel. It needs a bit of a minor equipment make over. Might not fit my body type as well as the Dual did.
