"While music devices are not allowed in most triathlons, this is a useful tool for anyone who wants tunes while they train. The products (I will review others) appear well made and are waterproof. The hardest part about writing this review was where to post it - I decided under "gear.""GRG

The Amphibx Fit has a tight seal to maintain its waterproof seal around the iPod nano. First time opening it was tricky as it was tight enough that I was afraid I might break it. However, I found it to be quite sturdily made.

The operation is intuitive. The touch screen still works as normal. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5 is the fact that it takes a little getting used to to operate the side buttons.

While it's a bit bulky, I have found this to be a well made product. The size is of no consequence for wearing or use.

(5)

The model I purchased has an elastic arm strap that is adjustable with velcro closure. The strap is removable and the unit could just as easily be worn on a belt.

As comfortable (or possibly more so) as my old strap that I used to wear my nano on.

This thing is water PROOF to 12 feet. I sweat profusely, run in the rain, bike in the rain. I can even swim with it if I desire.

(5)

I had to purchase a replacement nano due to moisture damage. Apple was kind enough to replace my old one - for $80. This case is 1/2 that price. Inexpensive insurance.

It looks better than the bags that other companies sell to hold electronics (& it's tougher, too.). Other than that, it's more about function than aesthetics.

(5)

No reportable issues to date. This appears to be a well made product - this coming from someone who is hard on gear.

Strong construction. Far less expensive than replacing electronics. Ease of use.

A bit tricky initially using the side buttons of the iPod. Weak hands might find it hard to open at first - this is by design for water proof.
